Before you even start following a skincare routine, you have to determine which type of skin you have. There are 5 different types of skin. They are all easily recognizable and that is the reason why we want to talk about them.

Normal Skin

Well, there are no many things to say about this type. It includes skin that feels completely balanced. More precisely, it is neither too dry nor too oily. Despite that, normal skill does not have any type of reaction when you apply something to it.

Oily Skin

Recognizing the oily skin is quite easy. You just have to check your T-zone. If your T-zone is a bit greasy and shiny, then you are suffering from the oily skin. There are two things that you should know about this type of skin. It tends to have the larger sebaceous glands that produce excess oil. Despite that, this type of skin is acne-prone as well.

Dry Skin

How does your skin feel after washing? Does it feel itchy and tight? Well, if this is the problem that you have, then your skin is dry. Dry skin is prone to premature aging as well.

Combination Skin

Well, when you look at the traditional cleaners, they will help you break down the oil in your skin. However, some “more modern” cleaners became quite an attraction in today’s world. We would want to recommend three of them.

Hemp Seed Oil + Lavender

First of all, it is good to say that hemp seed oil has an anti-inflammatory effect on your skin. This means it is a perfect choice for acne-prone skin. Despite that, it can relive things like psoriasis, dermatitis, and eczema. The good thing is that this oil balances oily skin without clogging pores. Despite that, it boosts the elasticity of the skin and regenerates new cells.

The effect is even stronger when you mix this oil with 10 to 12 drops of lavender oil. It is detoxifying, healing, and antibacterial as well. It would be enough to use around quarter size amount of a small amber glass bottle per day.

Coconut Oil

Instead, this type of oil is perfect when you want to remove makeup. This includes the type of makeup like mascara and eye makeup. The good thing would be to combine these two oils. After you remove makeup, we suggest you use the hemp seed oil + lavender. In this way, it is less likely to clog pores and it will keep your skin fresh.

Raw Manuka Honey

Well, this is not a usual skincare method, but it would be good to add it to your skincare routine. It is something you should use in the morning hours before you get out of the home. However, this type of honey is different from others. It is completely unpasteurized and unprocessed. Because of that, it keeps all the beneficial properties that will have a positive effect on your skin. It has strong healing and antibacterial properties. Despite that, raw manuka honey is also hydrating and nourishing.

P.S. Don’t use it for makeup removal.

Calcium Face Mask

Well, the reason why you should use this mask is the same as the previous one. However, unlike the mud mask, this one comes in a powder form. You will have to mix it with apple cider vinegar or water to use it. It is recommendable to use it before you go to bed.
